OASIS Course during 18th Scientific Conference of ESCP, Vilnius

As you surely know, the 18th Scientific Conference of ESCP, the European Society of ColoProctology, was held in Vilnius from September 25-29. During it, for the second year in a row, the OASIs Course was organized, dedicated to the essence of the problem of perianal sphincter injuries, their complications and management. It was also attended by our CEO, Katarzyna Borycka. Its organizer and presenter was the irreplaceable Professor Carlo Ratto from Gemelli Hospital in Rome (and also a member of our Scientific Advisory Board). We are pleased that participants from many European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand, had the opportunity to explore this important topic, discuss it among European experts, and practice sphincter suturing on a basic organic model during a practical simulation session.

During the course, our solution was also discussed for the first time in an international forum of specialists and experts in the field. ONIRY gained the participants’ appreciation as a diagnostic tool that, although still in the clinical trial phase, is already showing breakthrough potential.
